Why did it take me so long to schedule that first colonic? After all, I had studied about them and had heard glowing reports from those who had reaped the benefits of having them. Even my health heroes, like Dr. Norman Walker, highly praised them. Yet I resisted as I found reasons not to go like:
*It’s embarrassing! Someone will be dealing with my colon, learning all about my bowel habits, and working with intimate parts of my anatomy.
What I failed to consider is that most colon hydrotherapists know how if feels to have a colonic. They are usually dedicated to their art because they have experienced life-changing results and work hard to create a relaxing, comfortable yet professional atmosphere.
*It’s happening to me! I feared how my system would react with someone watching.
What I discovered is that the colon hydrotherapist is a facilitator. He or she is there to monitor progress and let the patient give cues as to how things are going.
*It’s time consuming! Well, this one turned out to be true.
What we all need to keep in mind is that good health takes time and dedication.
There are many reasons why the average American needs to consider colonics. Even if a person begins eating healthfully from today on, he or she may still have pounds of dried sludge, like plaster, in the colon from years of eating improperly. This crusty matter provides a safe harbor for fungal overgrowth and a welcome home for parasites. It can also block nutrients from being absorbed and utilized by the body. All of this sets the stage for ill health in spite of dedicated efforts to make healthy changes.
Colonics also work to strengthen the action of the colon. The built up waste can create structural changes in the colon, thus prohibiting proper elimination. When the body does not eliminate properly, the entire body is affected.
So, what’s your excuse? Like me, I think you will find the benefits outweigh any prohibiting reason.

THREE CHEERS FOR: Exfolia™ Microexfoliation Beauty Cloth
There are so many advantages of removing dry, dead skin cells from the face and body. Removal of unhealthy skin can allow the skin to better breathe and detoxify. It also allows for better absorption of moisturizers and helps makeup to go on smoother, for a fresher, glowing you.
But, instead of worrying about dangerous chemicals and the expense of microdermabrasion treatments, consider the Exfolia™ Microexfoliation Beauty Cloth. The fibers contained in the cloth are extremely thin and can exfoliate dead skin cells, even going under these cells, to gently remove impurities and deep clean pores.
